About us

Dundee Beach Charity Golf Day was the brainchild of a few local people whose families' had been touched by cancer. They wanted to do something to support The Cancer Council and came up with the idea of a charity golf day.

Our organising committee was established to bring the idea to reality and includes individuals and organisation with a passion for our local community and the cause.

At least half our event proceeds are given to the Cancer Council of the Northern Territory to implement cancer awareness and support programs in the Dundee region. We also donate to local projects and programs that benefit the Dundee region. In 2014 we donated to the First Aid Post and Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade. In 2015 we donated $9000 to pay off the community ambulance.

In 2016, we continue to support the Cancer Council but we will also contribute to the further development of the Dundee Anzac Memorial as a community asset.

Our committee is not aligned with any particular organisation - we welcome everyone who wants to contribute to these great causes. As we are not an incorporated association at this stage, all our funds are being managed by local public relations business Creative Territory.

We would especially like to thank all our wonderful sponsors - please support them as they have supported us. You can read more about them on our sponsors page.

See our video on the 2015 event.
